Sodexo in campus dining has an opening for a for a Resident District Manager at George Mason University. George Mason is a prestigious University located in Fairfax, VA. This unit has four locations. The main location in Fairfax, a small retail location in Front Royal and a new location which is a joint venture with the Smithsonian & Prince Williams location.
This position is the key leader in Food Service at George Mason University. This RDM will manage an operating volume of $28+ Million to include resident dining, retail food (national brands) and catering venues. This is a high profile public university that is very progressive and fast paced.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Currently in a leadership capacity with experience in large volume food operations background.
Experience in managing and developing teams.
Strong financial background
Excellent client relationship skills
Have polished leadership skills to lead a large progressive team of food managers.
Multi-unit food operations background.

Functions as the central point of contact for one complex account with multiple locations, and possibly multiple contracts. Oversees performance of unit management including budget development, client relations, sales and profitability performance, conformance with company policies and procedures and staff training and development. Liaison between company resources and unit operating managers.
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 5 years
Basic Functional Experience - 5 years
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
