Experis Finance is conducting a search for a Bilingual Tax Manager for our prestigous client in Melbourne FL.
Job Description:
Provide compliance support for Americas (Canada, Mexico, Trinidad & Tobago, Colombia, Venezuela, Chile, & Argentina, etc.)
Reconcile local statutory accounting versus U.S. GAAP and U.S. tax rules (FASB109/FIN48) for all Americas.
Serve as the primary liaison responsible for managing all direct & indirect local tax matters and the reconciliation versus U.S. GAAP and U.S. tax rules for all Americas.
Responsible for quarterly and annual tax packages for all Americas.
Responsible of the income tax provisions and reconciliation versus FAS109/FIN48 for all Americas.
Ensure all local statutory requirements are followed up on and are in compliance at all times.
Support corporate taxes in local to U.S. GAAP tax reconciliation as well as transfer price analysis on a quarterly basis for the Americas as needed.
Ensure all monthly, quarterly and annual tax reports are delivered on time and are in compliance with the official accounting system.
Participate in any compliance initiatives which are requested by corporate taxes or triggered by local changes; recommend and coordinate action plans in the Americas with internal/external resources as needed for a smooth transition.
Maintain detailed records of all intercompany transactions at all times.
Participate in business process and systems improvements as needed in support of regional and global initiatives, including Mergers and Acquisitions.
Qualifications:
BA in Accounting/Finance or similar qualifications with a minimum of 7 years related experience.
Minimum of 7 years working in corporate taxation for a US multinational company dealing with U.S. GAAPs.
Must have knowledge of local tax programs across the Americas, i.e. free trade programs, tax benefits, etc.
Ability to manage multiple priorities including but not limited to scheduling/maintaining multiple project deadlines for various customers.
Background with statutory filings/audited financials and tax return filings.
Must have experience working in Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge in PeopleSoft.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Ability to interact at different levels of the organization (from top to bottom management), team player.
Advanced user with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Project Management Program (PMP) experience.
Bilingual in English (100%) and Spanish (70%).
Knowledge with PeopleSoft and Hyperion queries.
Portuguese (Intermediate)
