Our client in the North Druid Hills area is looking for a part time Bilingual(Spanish) CSR. This is a weekend position. The following requirements are below: The position pays $10/Hour Starting and is a contract to hire. To provide excellent customer service to callers, both internal and external, in a polite, helpful and professional manner. To be expert in department services including telephone triage support services, physician answering service, and physician referral services. To provide callers physician referrals, information related to hospital programs, educational classes, and other requests related to hospital services. T MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Must be a high school graduate; one to two years of college or advanced medical secretarial training is preferred. Must have word processing experience, preferably MS Word and Excel. Must type a minimum of 25 words per minute, Windows competency is required. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills using correct English grammar. bilingual preferred. Must have a basic understanding of medical terminology and understanding of physician subspecialties. Must be able to work in a high volume and stressful environment. Must possess a clear and professional voice for calls and announcements. Must be detail oriented and self-directed, and must possess problem-solving skills. Must be able to meet and maintain expected productivity standards as set for this position. FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES / JOB DUTIES Receives telephone inquiries from callers and makes the appropriate disposition of the call to the nurse telephone triage line, physician referral service, appropriate hospital department, or any other existing department services. Transfers or refers physician calls to the appropriate department or offices outside of the organization, using approved transfer and referral procedures. Must understand and be able to use all resources available to accomplish assigned tasks. Is proficient in all programs and applications used in the department, including, but not limited to: nurse triage system, physician referral service, ACRS, RiteCall Fax and electronic interface with answering services. Properly uses public address system as requested by authorized personnel for announcing urgent and specific hospital-related announcements. Appropriately screens all patient assistance calls, and provides specific information as requested by parents, doctors, and authorized hospital personnel. May assist with administrative support to the department as needed for, but not limited to, filing, scanning, restocking supplies, etc. Exhibits superior customer service; maintains a quality standard consistent with the goals of the department. Is able to interact professionally and in a calm manner with callers to acquire necessary information. I. FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES / JOB DUTIES (Cont.) Must be able to handle a high volume of calls and multi-task in a stressful environment. Supports & participates in continuous assessment and improvement of the quality and service provided.
