Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian with at least 1 year lead management experience for a Clinical Nutrition Manager position for a 100 bed acute care hospital (average census 65-75) located in Pineville, KY; nearest metro Knoxville, TN (1 hour 20 min), Lexington, KY (2 hours south); 15 miles from TN state line. This will be an exciting opportunity to partner with the GM to improve the patient, employee and visitor experience.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical nutrition skills and be able to establish proactive relationships with the medical staff.
In this position the CNM will be responsible for the clinical program, direct care of patients, employee wellness, as well as provide oversight for regulatory and accreditation preparation and visits and management support for patient services.
Additional responsibilities will include training and education of staff and personnel, directing the Diet Clerks and Patient Service front line staff, and working with the food and nutrition management team to achieve patient satisfaction goals.
Candidates should have excellent communications and customer service skills.
Experience with MDS assessment process and electronic health records is ideal.
Candidate should be licensed as LDN in KY or eligible to obtain license.

Typically manages a small, one registered dietitian account. Has mostly direct patient care responsibilities. May have patient food service responsibilities. Responsible for meeting JCAHO/state/federal and company standards. This position is the primary liaison with the medical and nursing staff.
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + Meets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
