Job Description
Responsible for providing accurate and efficient telehealth services including, but not limited to: general information, inbound and outbound referrals, class registration, assistance in selecting a provider, and assistance to patients or health plan members. Assists with maintaining assigned aspects of the Call Center software and measurement tools. The Call Center Customer Service Representative upholds the standards of the company wide customer services program and promotes quality service. The Call Center Customer Service Representative will serve as a communication link to facilitate patient transfers and physician consultation.
Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. Associate Degree in a Healthcare related field or Computer Technology preferred Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Spreadsheets and knowledge of software applications preferred.Able to type 40 WPM.Knowledge and understanding of medical terminology.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Exemplary telephone and interpersonal communication skills.Able to work simultaneously on many and varied tasks and to prioritize the completion of each.Able to tolerate stressful situations and frequent interruptions.Possesses strong problem solving and organizational skills with careful attention to detail.Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision and in limited physical space.Possesses openness to learning new skills and contributing to team effectiveness.
