Kaiser Permanente's IT Corporate Services - Shared Services Organization is seeking an infrastructure engineer for supporting business critical applications including PeopleSoft Finance, Supply Chain, HR, CRM, EPM, Analytics, Business Intelligence and other applications.
The primary responsibilities include:
Performance/Scalability/Assessment/Troubleshooting: Tackles hardware performance issues: Analyzes and debugs various server/infrastructure/database/web performance issues (Examples: IBM AIX, EMC Storage, Networking, Oracle, I/O, Web Tiers, App tiers etc). Identifies bottlenecks and optimizes product/service performance to improve user experience. Provides deepest visibility to perform root cause analysis (RCA). Documents & presents performance & capacity issues.
Production and Project Support: Provides escalation support for Production Infrastructure. Provide infrastructure and environment support during various project phases including development and all testing cycles. Builds and configures production infrastructure. Installs, configures, and validates application software and middleware
Security: Skilled with various Single Sign On (SSO) technologies and design, integration to the Enterprise security, and authentication solutions (Oblix, Active Directory, Site minder etc). Partners with partner with EA, IAM (security) and other organizations to design & implement security. Security Delivery - Manage security implementation & review.
