This individual will need to have computer knowledge, listening skills, and good communication skills. The individual will be responsible for taking incoming calls and assessing the patient's need for an appointment with the physician or mid-level provider. This position is primarily a sitting position so the individual will need to be able to sit at a desk the majority of the day.

Positions in this function require various nurse licensure and certification based on role and grade level. Licensure includes LPN/LVN, depending with current unrestricted licensure in applicable state. Positions this function are responsible for overseeing and participating in day to day clinical care of patients. Employees are involved in direct patient care in a clinic.
