Aptitude Sales Consultant Location: Aptitude, Corporate Headquarters - Irving, TX Job Summary This opportunity will report to the Senior Director, Sales. The incumbent will be responsible for ongoing relationship management leading to increased user penetration within the Aptitude market. Responsibilities The primary responsibility is to increase customer participation in Aptitude. Detailed tasks include; • Responsible for building and maintaining a defined list of relationships to increase customer participation and driving incremental sales of Aptitude's product categories. • Identify value opportunities and communicate the value of the benefits of contracting via Aptitude to customer. • Responsible for introductory and ongoing customer training. • Provide customer service for assigned accounts. • Work with National Sales Directors to close initial Aptitude agreements. • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline to track progress on sales opportunities with customers. • Regularly work with customer staff to determine their needs and develop solutions to meet the customer's needs. • Develop and maintain relationships with the Aptitude team to inform ongoing product development. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree required, either in business or a health care related field. • Health care experience preferred. Ability to influence decisions at both senior and department head levels. • Five to seven years of progressive experience with strong sales, leadership and / or account management skills in the health care products or technology industry or progressive managerial experience in a health care organization • Firsthand knowledge of how hospitals operate, are organized and make decision points in the organization. • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software products (Word, Power Point, and Excel ) and salesforce.com • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills • Up to 10% travel required • Flexible, action-oriented team player EOE M/F/D/V
