Heartland Hospice Services of Doral FL has an immediate need for a PRN Hospice Registered Dietitian.
Is responsible to the Director of Clinical Services to provide consultation and instruction in appropriate nutritian for clients. Assess client's' nutritional status and recommend special nutritional interventions to the physician's Plan of Care. Educational Requirements:Bachelor's or Master's Degree in dietetics. Current state license/registration, if required. In good standing in the state of practice. American Dietetic Association registration.
Position Requirements:100% travel necessary on a daily basis. At least one year previous experience, preferably in home health care or hospice.Current knowledge of principles, concepts and methodology of nutrition appropriate for ill clients.Excellent communication and rapport-building skills with clients and families.
Job Specific Details: Previous hospice experience preferred.
