Multi-State Sales Executive
Kaiser Permanente
This role can be based in any of the following locations:
Rosemont, Illinois, and or Oakland, or Burbank, California
Summary:
Achieves new business sales growth for the National Accounts organization and Regions by prospecting accounts, qualifying and selling Kaiser Permanente products and services to national and multi-state employer groups.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and manage a book of national and multi-state group prospects through various sales channels in assigned territory. Identify, qualify and solicit appropriate new business.
- Effectively consult with purchasers and channels to identify their needs, demonstrate value, build commitment to KP, and develop appropriate business solutions and proposals to respond to those needs.
- Develop sales plans for each prospect that include purchaser and consultant strategy components. Establish favorable conditions of offering. Sell the group at the right rate. Sell the group with the right product and benefit mix. Close the sale.
- Contribute to competitively position Kaiser Permanente in the national marketplace.
- Provide direction to NA and Regional teams to manage account implementation process. Develop and implement a plan to effectively transition the sold national and multi-state groups.
- Provide leadership and resources needed to address non-standard business requests, involving Regional, National Accounts, Program and multi-state management as needed for policy and practice decisions.
