Responsible for assisting the Senior Director of Strategy Management in the execution of KP Colorado's overall strategic priorities, establish & proactively manage superior client relationships, oversee program management aspects of multiple, high-profile strategic projects & frequently report progress to executives in both Health Plan/Medical Group & the broader regional workforce. Accountable for strategic portfolio budgets, resource allocation, & achievement of timelines/milestones.

Essential Functions:
- Responsible for the development of execution plans for KP Colorado's key strategic initiatives.
- Accountable for strategic portfolio budgets, resource allocation, & achievement of timelines/milestones Assist in creating project proposals w/ a specific value proposition for the client, leadership, & the organization.
- Exhibit strategic systems expertise & insight by understanding the connections, trends, & patterns of the healthcare environment & their relationship to KP's internal organization.
- Perform decision support, project or process related work as requested by customer or clients (e.g., strategy, project management, process improvement, & process management) in a timely & exemplary manner. Secure deliverable agreements efficiently & engage clients appropriately in the process (project plans to include project deliverables & outcomes).
- Manage & develop team members from both a professional & personal standpoint (e.g., coaching & mentoring) to increase their overall effectiveness & value to the company. Manage performance targets that meet the client & organization's requirements. Proactively prioritize & manage resource allocation, & demonstrate ability to leverage the organization's resources.
- Assist in the design & implementation a consistent program/project management methodology for use throughout the region.
- Support team members w/ learning/training opportunities to support long-term career growth within the Strategy Management team and/or KP (e.g., regional & national opportunities).
- Implement performance management tools in collaboration w/ HR to align compensation w/ performance while focusing on talent acquisition, development, & retention both within the department & in the organization.
- Assist in developing a standardized training & quality assurance program to promote superior outcomes.
- Establish superior client relationships w/ HPLT, CPET, directors, & managers. Is valued as a thought partner by senior leaders (i.e. HPLT, CPET), & proactively manages client relationships through a variety of methods (e.g., client satisfaction tools, discussions, face-to-face meetings, & quality assurance programs).
- Develop & leverage third party relationships w/ other KP support organizations (e.g., Service, Quality, Resource Stewardship, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Sales & Business

- Development, IT, HR, Analytics, Program Office, to achieve outcomes. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in senior leadership environment. Capable of "Managing Up" w/ clients, & demonstrated ability to navigate politically sensitive waters (e.g. political savvy).

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:
- A Minimum of 7 years of progressive management & consulting experience w/ demonstrated business results.
- Bachelor's degree
- Exceptional facilitation skills w/ track record of driving to outcomes w/ multiple stakeholder groups.
- Strong logic & analytic skills, excellent verbal,written, & presentation communication skills.
- Proactive, positive, energetic, anticipatory in predicting organizational & client needs.
- Unparalleled attention to detail in work products & deliverables.
- Extensive knowledge of decision support systems; strategic, operational, & financial project management; process management; & process & systems improvement.
- Demonstrated success in the areas of strategic/systems thinking, effective team building, change leadership, & results orientation.
- Excellent coaching, mentoring, & team development skills.
- Demonstrated skills in emotional intelligence, including areas of intrapersonal & interpersonal awareness, adaptability, & stress management.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, , economics, management, industrial engineering, or related area
- Top Tier consulting/accounting firm experience
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent
- Lean and/or Six Sigma certification
