Sodexo Senior Living is seeking a General Manager of Dining Services for this continuing care retirement community located in Shrewsbury, PA. This manager will have direct responsibility for managing day to day operations for a 120 skilled bed, 60 Personal Care and 120 Independent Living facility. Best qualified candidate will possess excellent leadership and communications skills and will provide leadership during client and resident catering functions. DOH and DPW regulatory guidelines experience and HACCP knowledge is helpful.
The General Manager for this community will oversee daily operations for resident services, quality managerment systems, financial responsibilites for both buildings, team building and interface with the client and residents on a regular basis to bring creativity and innovation. There is a great opportunity to enhance the resident experience at this location, as we are the process of planning a new dining venue for our residents. Knowledge of cash handling, menu development, food production and culinary experience is needed. Prior food service experience in a healthcare environment is helpful.
Reporting to the Area General Manager, the ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience as a Operations Manager / Food Service Director and have experience in training and developing staff, coordinating customer service programs. Experience in a healthcare food service environment is helpful.

Basic Education Requirement - Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years
