23461- Sodexo is seeking a Food Service Manager (II) for St Joseph John Knox Village a Retirement Community in Tampa Bay, Florida. Position manages meal services for 150 Bed
Medical Center and 150 Assisted Living. Ideal candidate has a Formal Degree and a Servsafe Certificate. Candidate will need to be a Certified Dietary Manager with experience in multidisciplinary care plans. Position manages 35 employees, daily operations of diet office and kitchen, production processes, catering events, food and labor costs, the HACCP program, and Resident satisfaction. Best
qualified has Diet Office and Food Service Management experience in Healthcare / Senior Living, and possesses excellent leadership, communication, and team building skills. Position is hands on during production of resident dining meals to produce outstanding and high quality food and dining experiences. Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate has experience respectfully supervising and supporting the clinical process, nursing station standards regarding floor supplies, time management and organizational skills, experience with inventory and on line purchasing. The adherence to proper food handling and proper safety programs and a working knowledge of web based programs is critical to the success of this position. Experience as a Diet Technician is ideal. Assists in maintenance of cash control and payroll records. Assists in supporting the financial/HR functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
