Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for an entry level Clinical Dietitian position at Nathan Littauer Hospital and Nursing Home, located ~ 1 hour northwest of Albany. This community hospital is comprised of 74 acute care beds, 84 skilled nursing beds and an outpatient clinic.
Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the Clinical Dietitian will:
Primarily provide nutrition care to the long term care residents and provide covererage for acute care and outpatient as needed.
Be a Registered Dietitian or eligible for RD certification.
Work as part of a 3 RD team and provide facility wide weekend coverage every 3rd weekend.
Have experience with EMR and the Nutrition Care Process.
Possess strong customer service and communication skills.
Have a passion for driving and improving the resident experience and enjoy working with seniors to make every day a better day for our residents.

Provides basic nutrition assessments and care planning for patients/residents. Plans special diets and supervises their preparation. Instructs patients/residents and/or hospital personnel in basic principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet. Performs routine care responsibilities without training and direction.
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Functional Experience - Meets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
