Sodexo is seeking a Full-Time Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic team at The Lehigh Valley Health Network, Cedar Crest, a 1000 bed teaching network of three hospitals located in Allentown, PA.
Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the ideal candidate will:
Be a Registered Dietitian with experience in an acute care setting
Work as part of the inpatient clinical team providing nutrition therapy to
the acute care inpatient population and nutritional care to the general
population
Manage the nutrition care process
Provide education to patients, as well as staff and work well with
physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff
Possess the ability to creatively problem solve, work independently with minimal supervision and make decisions while working within a self-directed and team-oriented work environment
Have excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide
variety of individuals and groups
Have strong time management and organizational skills

Provides basic nutrition assessments and care planning for patients/residents. Plans special diets and supervises their preparation. Instructs patients/residents and/or hospital personnel in basic principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet. Performs routine care responsibilities without training and direction.
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Functional Experience - Meets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
