Description Job Category: Product Design & Engineering-Powertrain Employment Type: Full Time Physical Location: Chrysler Headquarters & Tech Center The Engine Mechanical Development Lead Engineer for Powertrain Labs is responsible for coordinating all engine mechanical development testing within Powertrain Labs. Interface with Engine Engineering team(s) to establish testing plans. Identify engine dynamometer test cell for each request. Coordinate test article buildup to ensure engine and all related equipment/instrumentation is installed properly to meet test objectives. Coordinate installation of test article in engine dynamometer test cell. Work with facility, instrumentation, and wing engineering support teams to ensure test cell and equipment is functioning properly. Build test schedules and review data. Work with cell operators to complete test requirements. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university * Experience with Engine Engineering with extensive knowledge of engine mechanical systems * Experience with engine testing in a dynamometer cell environment Preferred Qualifications: * Planning and leadership skills required * Strong oral and written communication skills necessary Requirements Please see job description.
