Description Job Category: Manufacturing-Operations Employment Type: Full Time Physical Location: Toledo North Assembly Plant A Focused Improvement (FI) Specialist will function as a leading World Class Manufacturing (WCM) authority in Wrangler Assembly. This includes actively studying and participating in best practice creation/utilization and expansion in all pillars. Also, an FI Specialist will develop the distribution of know-how as the department FI Lead. Act as a kaizen coach to other employees. Ensure kaizen activity against the highest departmental losses. Track and report on activity within the department. Basic Requirements: * Bachelors degree required * Must be able to grasp difficult concepts and intermediate/advance tools * Must have proven ability to interact with all levels of an organization * Strong administrative skills required * Must have advanced working knowledge with all Microsoft Office applications, including Access, PowerPoint, and Excel * Must be a problem-solver with follow-up skills * Must be goal-oriented and a self-starter and possess the ability to lead and manage in a team-based structure * Must be able to multi-task Preferred Qualifications: * Advanced or technical degree preferred * Manufacturing experience preferred * Experience working with UAW employees preferred Requirements Please see job description.
