Job Summary:
Treaty Underwriter with responsibility for underwriting U.S. based portfolios covering professional lines including Directors and Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Errors and Omissions and Medical Malpractice.
Responsibilities include:
- Source opportunities through the reinsurance broker market
- Underwrite all aspects of submission opportunities including risk evaluation, pricing, contract review, audit and oversight
- Identify profitable opportunities
- Make recommendations based on comprehensive analysis and research
- Minimum of 5 years of primary insurance or reinsurance underwriting experience
- Strong quantitative skills
- Strong spreadsheet and data management skills
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work in a collaborative environment
- Willingness and capability to travel domestically in the U.S.
- Strong track record of academic and professional achievement
