SODEXO has a new position available in Englewood Cliffs, NC.
This is an exciting opportunity to show off your skills in all areas of contract management. This position will oversee the efficient delivery of services to our client in the areas of:
- Boiler operations
- Plumbing
- HVAC maintenance
- General facility management in office building and warehouse environments
Facility management in a research and development environment which includes Bio-labs level 2, laboratory equipment, fume hoods.
Kitchen equipment preventative maintenance
Manage small projects and building modifications
Interact with subcontractors and verify compliance to contract terms and agreements.
Monitor and ensure staff facilitates contract terms in proper calibration of scales , walk in freezers, hot boxes and equipment used within research laboratories
Develop and track facility asset warranties
Manage a staff of 15 director reports
Requirements/Goals:
1. Successfully complete transitions of services to Sodexo within 90 days of go live while maintaining a minimum of 90% of the current staff.
2. Establish a relationship with system owners for all services supervised
3. Understand budget for area of responsibility
4. Participate in the development and identification of ongoing cost savings/efficiencies with at least 2 identified within first 6 months.
5. Establish Safety committee that works across all areas of responsibility
6. Set up regular Safety Huddles and attain a 95% week over week consistency rating
Must have demonstrated knowledge of the following position requirements:
- budgets,
- computer software,
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Manage a team of employees in the varying scopes of work
Responsibilities: Supervises hourly staff providing facilities maintenance and engineering services to client. Responsible for work force planning, QA training, and administrative functions of the designated area of supervision. Typically reports to GM or Ops Manager.
Qualifications: Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations or engineering services
Number two position at the account with responsibility for all operations. Assumes GM's responsibilities and authority in his/her absence. Supervises managers. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations or engineering services
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
