Sodexo is seeking a Human Resource Manager 3 who will direct and support the HR activities for the Memorial Hermann Hospital System , which consists of 5 - 8 hospitals in the Houston, Texas area.
This Human Resource Manager will primarily support all HR recruitment needs for the Food Services, Environmental Services and Clinical Nutrition departments and assist the management staff with the oversight of 350 frontline employees. This may include (but will not be limited to) recruiting, labor relations, employee relations, payroll processing, interviewing, hiring and on boarding hourly staff as well as training and other special projects as assigned. The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience in human resources in a similar size and type of industry, with prior food and/or environmental services (housekeeping, janitorial, custodial) operations being a plus. This HR Manager must be extremely detail-oriented, computer literate in all MS Office products and knowledgeable of state/federal HR policies/laws as well as be skilled in the areas of labor and employee relations. Flexibility of schedule in terms of shift time and days worked will be critical in order to ensure that proper support is provided across all shifts of employees and managers in all locations.

Handles all HR related functions for large multi site/service system, national account, large complex single location account or those with unionized workers. Includes payroll, benefits, administration of labor contracts, training, employee relations, recruiting, etc. Role focuses on hourly workforce. May supervise other HR management and/or clerical professionals. Advises unit level management regarding policies and programs including recruitment and employment, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, training, AAP/EEO, and special projects. May be responsible for the administration of HR programs including payroll, benefits, records retention, AAP/EEO compliance. May contribute to the development of unit specific policies or programs.
Basic Education Requirement - Associates Degree Basic Management Experience - 0 years Basic Functional Experience - 3 years in HR
