The Body Electromechanical Technical Fellow in Electromachanical Systems Integration is responsible for advanced product development and decoupled development. Their responsibilities are to develop and maintain the electromechanical technical roadmap including architecture, advanced material applications, fuel economy, and safety enablers, with heavy emphasis on power roof systems (power and manual convertible tops, sunroofs) and power hardware systems (door modules, power closures, OSRV mirrors), as well as to coach and train other specialists and engineers and to organize/attend seminars and training for technology transfer.
Basic Qualifications:
* Minimum of a Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering from an ABET accredited university
* Minimum of 10 years of product development experience in electromechanical systems and components
Preferred Qualifications:
* PhD in Engineering from and ABET accredited University
* Track record of directing, leading, teaching, inspiring, and creating new knowledge
* Published in journal papers, conference papers, patents, and other trade publications
* Active in technical societies
* Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) blackbelt - proactive and/or reactive
* Professional technical certification
