Description Job Category: Product Design & Engineering-Engineering Employment Type: Full Time Physical Location: Chrysler Headquarters & Tech Center The HVAC Software Engineer will support logic/software development activities for new Chyrsler HVAC controls. Interface with HVAC control engineers, sea engineers and suppliers to develop new logic/software code that meets corporate and program requirements. Develop detailed software requirement documents and validation plans. Work with validation engineer to ensure requirements are met. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited program * Minimum 3 years engineering experience in the automotive industry * Experience in logic/software code development using Matlab/Simulink * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to effectively operate both independently and as part of a team * Ability to use Vector tools (CANOE, CANALYZER) and familiarity with CAN protocol * Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications: * Master of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited university * Good knowledge of DFSS tools * Certification in any project management tools or software assurance methods (CMMI) * Good knowledge of software requirements design and analysis * Good knowledge of Microcontrollers and ECU hardware design Requirements Please see job description.
