Position Summary: 
This position will be responsible for all administrative functions that contribute to Penske Truck Leasing's success in servicing our customers in a fast paced environment. The candidate selected for this position will be developed by the district leadership team and have regular interaction all departments in the organization (Rental, Maintenance, Sales) with leadership at both the district and area level.
 
The Business Management Trainee position is designed to introduce a new associate to many aspects of Penske's operations and provide a foundation in which to develop in future positions, including leadership. Penske is committed to developing associates through use of on the job training, in-house formal training programs, and eLearning.
 
This position would be Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
 
Major Responsibilities:  
-Handle inbound and outbound customer calls
-Schedule preventative maintenance services with our contract customers to assure 100% compliance necessary to maintain the vehicles
-Assist the service department with inventory and parts management
-Manage the licensing of vehicles assigned to our District and Branch locations
-Prepares, issues, and sends out receipts, bills, and invoices to our customers
-Review and analyze established Penske operational reports, presenting findings to district leadership
-Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor


Requirements

Qualifications
 
Qualifications:
-At least 6 months of customer service experience required
-As this is an entry level development position recently obtained Bachelor's degree required
-Prior automotive industry experience is preferred
-Proficiency with computer, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint are required
-Strong written and verbal communication is required 
-Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-taks are required
-Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required
