Job Description:

• Creating algorithm documents outlining clinical measure specifications
• Working closely with medical directors to determine quality measure and coding criteria
• Entering measure criteria into rules entry tool and testing results for accuracy
• Creating requirements and functional specification documents for product enhancements
• Working on customer and project teams that use quality measurement products
• Analyzing enhancements opportunities and proposing solutions
• Supporting product management, sales, marketing, training, implementation, account management and help desk
• Creating marketing materials, white papers and sales support materials and supplemental product documentation
• Participating in product testing, validation and packaging activities

We are enhancing our clinical performance solution products and creating new, innovative solutions for the market. Due to the increasing demand for quality measurement initiatives, we need a creative, highly motivated Sr Business Analyst with quality measurement expertise to add to our growing team. This position will afford you the opportunity to work as part of a team to create and enhance products used for provider quality measurement and disease/care management programs. • Undergraduate degree required; a healthcare-related degree is a plus (preferred: RN, PA, NP)
• Minimum of 5 years of healthcare work experience
• Quality measurement experienced preferred
• SQL experience or DB query experience preferred
• Excellent written/oral communication and listening skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to understand complex applications and derive solutions
• Ability to think both strategically and tactically
• Strong knowledge of administrative claims data and medical coding systems (i.e. SNOMED, Medcin, CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9, RxNorm, NDC)
• Solid PC computer skills with proficiency in MS Office applications
• Knowledge of Symmetry products is desired.
