Description

The Supervisor, Clinical Operations and Case Management is responsible for the clinical operations and medical management activities across the continuum of care (assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor and evaluate).  The position will supervise RN Case Managers and Clinical Administration Coordinators who case manage, coordinate care, and provide medical management consulting. Function may also be responsible for providing health education, coaching and treatment decision support for members.

 

This position is onsite in Brentwood, TN

 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates, supervises and is accountable for the daily activities of business support, technical or production team or unit
  • Develops, manages and reports on clinical data
  • Guides team to meet organizational metrics
  • Interfaces effectively and efficiently with both internal and external customers as a positive team lead
  • Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion
  • Coordinates work activities with other supervisors
  • Develops plans to meet short-term objectives
  • Identifies and resolves operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment
  • Reviews and prepares operational reports for specified internal and external customers
  • Ensures new staff receive appropriate orientation
  • Develops, mentors and maintains effective team
  • Conducts Quality Auditing
  • Work with multiple EMR's and databases
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

RN license current and unrestricted from state of Tennessee required
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required
At least 3 years in a Supervisor or Management role required
At least 3 years of experience in a Case Manager role working for a Managed Care Organization or Disease Management company required
CCM Preferred but not required
