Retail, Multi-Unit Regional Director (Bilingual)

National specialty retailer with over 10,0 locations seeks a BILINGUAL REGIONAL DIRECTOR in Los Angeles, CA. Candidate should have strong relationships within the Hispanic community to oversee 150+ locations & develop strategies to increase revenue & customer loyalty.

Must be bilingual and local to the Los Angeles area with a strong REGIONAL, multi-unit retail leadership background.

Job Summary:

Our client is the leading retailer who is #1 in their retail space. We are looking for an experienced, results oriented Regional Director who has successfully overseen a region of 150+ stores and at least 8 District Managers.

Successful candidates must have significant experience working within the Hispanic community and building strong partnerships. We are looking for local candidates only within theLos Angelesarea that are bilingual and are able to read, write and speak Spanish with a proven history of driving retail sales, building teams and retaining talent.

NOT looking for a Director or Area Sales Manager overseeing territory sales, merchandise or distribution representatives that do not have a direct management reporting structure to the stores.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for leading a team of District Managers to drive sales and profits and increase overall customer retention and satisfaction

Coach, train and develop District Managers in performance management, relationship building, managing through corporate change .and providing feedback. Experienced in the process of holding teams accountable for results.

Direct responsibility for locations within the region to ensure goals and targets are met, exceptional customer experience is delivered and brings a history as a change agent

Experience in growing the business through an entrepreneurial skill and mindset to grow the customer base with a multi cultural environment.

Job Requirements:

This position requires a strong leader who can lead a team of 8-11 District Mangers, identify methods to continuously improve business performance, participate in strategic planning and help position the region for further growth

We are looking for a hands-on leader with an entrepreneurial spirit that has the proven ability to create a strong sales culture and customer centric environment within the Region

Regional Director that has a stable and upward progressive work history as well as a proven record of accomplishment in mentoring and developing individuals to higher levels within the organization

Candidate will have at least 4-5years experience at a Regional Director level or above and must have a strong Multi-Unit Retail Sales background. We are looking for a Regional Director that has had direct P&L and management responsibility within the stores

Must have the proven ability to lead, motivate and develop large teams

Proven success increasing profitability, developing, analyzing and managing budgets as well as P&Ls.

Bachelors degree in a related field is preferred or additional experience directly related to position

Existing strong relationships that can be leveraged within the Hispanic community to serve the needs of the important demographic. Must clearly understand culture and multi-generation differences.
