Job Title: Project Manager with .net expertise-Spanish speaking
The Project Manager will provide leadership and delivery instruction to a small team of on site .net developers and a team of offshore .net developers working to build functionality for replacing the clients Fox Pro based legacy system with .net technology (and Crystal Reporting). The Project Manager will also manage the team's development of new solution components providing the quality management of an agriculture based business process involving detailed tracking of the Farming, Harvesting and Grower specifics. Project Management efforts will change management, status reporting, issue & risk management, project plan task management and delivery management while providing detailed project milestone information achieving to ensure that various initiatives are delivered on time and on budget with the last initiative that should go live prior to November of this year.
Responsibilities:
Establishing and implementing project methodologies and processes within work teams
Project Scheduling - Establish a project plan, based line the plan, manage schedule and resource load. Assure plan is integrated with each team and follows internal project methodology.
Manage project operation budget
Strong Business Analytic background, ability to consult with Executives effectively
Lead and develop project team members
Integrate with other projects to support a program approach
Work with business partners to understand business process needs and analyze requirements
Facilitate resolution of cross-team business issues amongst business groups
Location: Project work effort will be in Florida with up to 50% travel to Mexico as needed.
Qualifications:
10 Years Project Management experience across large global projects; PMP certification is preferred.
Experience managing multiple projects with extensive .net development is required
Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle Fundamentals and Version Control Familiarity and rapid application development methodologies/techniques (e.g. Agile).
System Technology comfort within Microsoft Team Foundation Server.
Extensive knowledge leading teams (onshore and offshore) who are building custom code within a modular architecture environment or component based environment.
History with global rollout strategy providing a sense of reusability specific to rollout to other locations.
Fluent Spanish and English communication is required
Solution development leadership
Estimating and project management skills required
Excellent references are required
Experience with Foxpro applications is desirable
