Bilingual Employment Specialist - Needed to develop and implement strategies for job placement and retention for individuals with disabilities and other barriers to independence who represent the Hispanic/Latino community and whose primary language is Spanish as well as other individuals typically served by Goodwill. Provides job readiness skills, assistance with job search, on-the-job training and other post-employment supports, career development and follow-up services. Promotes services to individuals, businesses and funding sources with a focus on supporting the employment and self-sufficiency needs of individuals in the Hispanic/Latino community. Bachelor's degree in a human services or related field. Two years experience in job placement, business or knowledge or experience working with people with disabilities or other barriers to employment; or equivalent education and experience. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) required. Familiarity with the cultural diversity within the Hispanic/Latino community in Berks and/or Lancaster counties and their varied needs preferred. Ability to market services to the local business community to accomplish program goals desirable. Current and valid driver's license and reliable vehicle. Must possess good communication skills.
