Description |
Responsibilities:
The Account Manager for Hispanic Sports Marketing reports to agency's VP of Multicultural/Hispanic Sports. Manager will support marketing and consulting services for major consumer products company. The Manager will interface directly with the client and be responsible for providing day-to-day client management of sports property assets details and demands. Manager will provide strategic insights and recommendations when necessary. Candidate must have a strong desire to take the initiative in identifying opportunities and areas of improvement, be extremely proactive in finding new solutions to deliver and pursue service excellence. Manager will aid in the implementation of activation programs within professional sports. Diverse and overlapping projects necessitate superior time management skills, superior attention to detail capabilities for advanced project management.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Proactively deliver solutions against short-term and long-term client priorities. Must be able to anticipates client needs and meet tight deadlines
Manage creative approvals with all necessary parties, including but not limited to the client, their customers and properties
Manage day-to-day relationships between client and other third party agency partners
Generate and manage weekly update status reports with all respective groups
Research and share best practices, compile data on client's competitors
Manager is expected to spend significant amount of time at client's HQ offices supporting client's sponsorships and investments
Assist in evaluations of all sports and entertainment alliances, proposals
Assist in activation and programming efforts around major sporting jewel events
Demonstrate ability to adapt to changing marketplace and client's dynamics
Assist in ideation for retail initiatives nationally and locally that will drive volume efficiently and effectively
Develop documents, reports and presentations for client, including status reports, meeting agendas, asset tracking tools and recap decks
Collaborate with team members and internal departments to provide excellent client service and flawless event execution

Requirements |
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
Fluent in Spanish
Sports knowledge, specifically related to sports that appeal to Hispanics
2-3 years client/agency sports management experience preferred
Ability to travel on weekends and work extended hours during busy time periods
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to travel up to 20%
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Power Point & Excel skills are required
