Education:
Bachelor Degree: Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Other disciplines: Mechatronics, Robotics Automation, Artificial Intelligence, etc.
Master degree in any of these fields, desirable.
Languages:
Fluent in English and Spanish, ideally with command of an additional language.
Responsibility:
This position will be responsible to lead and implement a major global project to automate the Tubes Accessories area in the finishing line. This will represent a project from conception, including its financial and capital investment requirements. It calls for an individual who knows how to conceptualize and develop a project, engineering / design concepts and provide solutions according to process needs ( for example, raw material to production line to storage and dispatching).
He/she should have the experience and knowledge of the who, when and how the integration process will be carried out, along with engineering/ design, equipment and systems requirements, suppliers /integrators, costs, simulations and trials, and all that is needed until its implementation and start up.
This will also require managerial skills to organize and lead the group involved in this project. He/she will be responsible to create the appropriate structure for the area.

Strong background & Proven Experience of around 10 years in the Automotive Industry in:
Mechanical design oriented to robotics.
Electro pneumatics
Artificial Intelligence
o Data Mining
o Statistics
Motion Control
o Servo systems
o Classic and adaptive control techniques
Manufacturing Process
Materials Handling and storage
Basics of Electrical and electronics
Machine Design
Design of Machine Elements
Conceptual design
o Materials selection and analysis
o Heat treatment and coatings
Hydraulics
Failure analysis
Mechanical vibrations analysis
o Modal analysis
o Isolating systems design
Dynamic absorbers (Desired)
Motion Control Basics
Familiar with robotics suppliers such as: Fanuc, ABB, Kuka, Motoman, BM Group (Italy) and the like
Other requirements:
Leadership and managerial skills
Excellent communication and people skills
Ability to relate, interact well and feel at ease with other cultures
Drive, energy and potential to take over greater responsibilities, including international assignments
International experience is desirable, preferably in the USA, Germany or Japan
