Physical Location: Toledo North Assembly Plant
The Maintenance Area Manager is responsible for managing the activities of maintenance area supervisors and respective skilled trade employees. The Manager will support all aspects of production processes including safety, quality, delivery, cost and morale and drive the successful implementation of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) processes and standards.
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree required
* Minimum 7 years maintenance experience in manufacturing\automotive environment, body shop experience preferred
* Demonstrated maintenance supervisory experience. Knowledge of body-in-white processes
* Experience with robotic automation processes
* Knowledgeable with PLC and welding application hardware and software
* Experience with Control Net Networks and Device Net Networks
* Knowledge of welding processes
* Experience in RS Logic, PLC-5, Allen Bradley Drive Systems, etc.
* Must be a leader of change and a leader of people
Preferred Qualifications:
* Advanced or technical degree
* Proficiency with Microsoft application software (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access)
* Familiarity with Professional Maintenance, Autonomous Maintenance, and Early Equipment Management
* Must be able to work any shift
