Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic team at Provident Hospital as a Clinical Nutrition Manager located in Chicago,IL. Provident Hospital is part of a multi-unit system, made up of three Sodexo contracted hospitals within Chicago, IL.
Position will report to General Manager/Operations Manager and selected candidate will:
Manage a staff 25-50 employees and is required to provide consultation to all patients that are in need of a dietitian at Provident Hospital
Be required to work 50% of time per week in patient care. Position will work every other weekend and provide holiday coverage as needed
Work 50% of time per week in helping Ops Manager run the operation. Must be flexible in opening/ closing shifts,counting money, ordering, etc.
Rotate to different properties within the multi-unit Stroger System
Oversee quality improvement programs/training and educating staff, previous experience working with unions a plus
Be responsible for monitoring and achievement of clinical nutrition
care standards
Assist in preparation and readiness for accreditation and regulatory visits
Have demonstrated record of outstanding relationships and communication with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff, and the ability to build client
relationships
Be a self-directed, team player, with demonstrated strong
management and leadership skills and a track record of successful
implementation of clinical programs, best practices and excellence in clinical
practice

Coordinates and directs the efforts of clinical and patient care dietitians, as well as other staff members within one or two sites. Responsible for meeting JCAHO/state/federal and company standards. This position is the primary liaison with medical and nursing staff.
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
