Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services Custodial Manager for Cook County Health and Hospital System- Stroger Hospital, located in Chicago, IL for a second shift position. This facility is located near downtown Chicago, has approximately 1.3 million cleanable square feet and 450 patient beds. Second shift typically runs 2:30pm-11:30pm with every other weekend from 6:30am-4:00pm and every other holiday.
The responsibility for this manager includes managing the 40 evening client paid staff, frontline hourly union employees and 3 supervisors, as well as handling employee relation matters, employee training, quality inspections and conducting formal rounds with key hospital customers. The ideal candidate for this position will have strong customer service skills, client relations building skills, be computer literate, self motivated and have a floor care background.
Supervises hourly staff providing custodial service to client. Responsible for work force planning, QA training and administrative functions for designated area. Typically reports to GM or Ops Manager.
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
