Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services Trainer to support and facilitate training within this discipline. The trainer will be responsible for rolling out Environmental & Housekeeping training to all newly hired ES/Custodial managers, as well as frontline employees as requested. This position will provide support to ES/Custodial departments for new start ups and on an as needed basis for auditing, troubleshooting and general support. Being flexible to jump in and assist other units in an operational capacity will also be required. Travel expectation up to 20%, with the flexibility for overnight stays as needed. Will be responsible for developing and maintaining standards and meeting prescribed timelines. As the subject matter expert, it's essential for the successful candidate to have previous environmental services and housekeeping experience.
Presents training programs. Develops basic training materials. Collects and analyzes evaluations to improve training programs. May develop and implement other methods for evaluating the effectiveness of training programs. Provides input into the development of the annual training plan. May have logistical responsibilities regarding the training (ordering materials, arranging for facility set-up, sending confirmation notices, etc.).
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years of experience in technical area or training
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
