The Design Senior - Engine Systems is responsible for supervising 15-20 SBU Designers, assigning and supervising completion of design work orders, and release scheduling. The Design Senior is also responsible for data coordination with suppliers and downstream customers, management of design room time records, lost time reporting, and employee development.
Basic Qualifications:
* Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university
* Minimum of 5 years design experience of automotive systems or components
* Minimum of 10 years of NX/Teamcenter/Catia experience
Preferred Qualifications:
* Master of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
* Design experience of engine systems components (fuel systems, engine cooling systems, air induction systems, and exhaust systems)
* Knowledge of architecture, packaging requirements, and assembly processes
* Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Powerpoint)
* Strong leadership skills
* Strong planning skills
* Self-starter
* Able to work independently
