The Material Control Supervisor is responsible for managing multiple work teams in a fast paced, high volume unionized manufacturing office environment. The Material Control Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating daily activities (including Scheduling, Specifications, Just-in-Time, and/or Follow-Up) and supervise salaried bargaining unit employees, to achieve business metrics and implementing World Class Manufacturing (WCM) tools and processes as it relates to material flow. The Material Control Supervisor will be required to manage systems and record integrity in support of the entire floor operation.
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree required
* Effective verbal and written communication skills, and ability to interface with external and internal groups, including senior management
* Self-directed and demonstrated planning/problem solving skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft office applications
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's in Supply Chain management, engineering or equivalent
* Preferred 2 years related experience
* Supervisory experience in automotive experience preferred
* Experience in assembly manufacturing a plus
* Master's degree a plus
