HCR ManorCare provides a range of services, including skilled nursing care, assisted living, post-acute medical and rehabilitation care, hospice care, home health care and rehabilitation therapy.
Provides technical support, assists in the design, deployment, and maintenance of all enterprise systems. Tests and evaluates technical infrastructure to eliminate problems and make improvements. Has an intermediate level of knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on basic experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Provides 7 x 24 hour support coverage for all enterprise systems, including hardware, core OS, NOS, back office and network tools/applications, physical network infrastructure devices, custom and third party business applications. Works with other groups in the IS Department to support projects and day-to-day operations as defined by supervisor. Continuously works to improve personal, technical, and business skills in order to provide the best service possible.
Job Specific Details
- Experience configuring and maintaining routers and switches.
- Experience configuring and maintaining wireless APs and controllers.
- Familiar with HIPPA, PCI, SOX, and Hi-Tec compliance.
- Experience with Cisco IOS, NXOS, NetScreen, and JunOS.
- Experience with configuring and maintaining firewalls, IPS/IDS, and monitoring tools.
- Familiar with VoIP Technologies – (Cisco CUCM and CME a plus)
- Familiar with SAN/NAS technologies (Fiber Channel, iSCSI).
- Familiar with Virtual Server Technologies (VMware)
- Familiar with TACACS+/Radius and AAA
- Familiar with Mobile Device Management (MDM) Servers

Educational Requirements:Bachelor's degree preferred, with three to five years of professional experience required; Equivalent experience and professional certifications considered in lieu of degree. Position Requirements:Individual must possess and be able to demonstrate a sound working knowledge of configuring and supporting core networking devices leveraging the following common protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, ACLs, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, QoS, BGP, and MPLS (TDM & Ethernet hand-offs).
