Job Description
Manages all aspects of outpatient primary care practice with ten or less providers, including both clinical and non-clinical functions. While certain staff report through other departments or organizations, all site Allied Health staff report either directly or indirectly to the Office Supervisor.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related field required. Master’s degree preferred. Three years supervisory experience required, preferably in a healthcare setting. Knowledge and experience in managing human resource issues required. Skills must include recruitment, retention, performance management, and mentoring for professional development.

Other Qualifications:
Must have knowledge of business aspects of health care, including automation/technology literacy, with experience and skill using multiple software programs operated on personal computers, networks and mainframe computers. Must demonstrate solid knowledge of and ability to use electronic medical record, electronic ordering, scheduling, charging, and billing systems. Must possess solid knowledge of and experience with billing and insurance, including commercial, Medicare and managed care payors. Must demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must actively and regularly contribute to the development and implementation of innovations in policy, process, workflow and other operational elements to advance new models of care, enhance quality, safety, efficiency and patient/staff satisfaction. Must possess highly developed critical thinking and problem solving skills. Must be able to assess and analyze problems, identify the need for and find additional information, devise one or more solutions, select or present the most appropriate solution, and communicate and implement resolution. Must demonstrate project management skills. Responsible and accountable for the coordinated management of multiple related projects directed towards strategic business and other organizational objectives. Must demonstrate excellent management of multiple priorities. Must display experience and skill in managing multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing and addressing in order of urgency. Must demonstrate highly developed interpersonal skills. Must demonstrate required communication skills for managing challenging situations with patients, physicians, and employees, as well as episodes of conflict with other work units/departments.

Compensation Detail: Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum salary every two weeks is approximately $1,764.00, based on a full-time position.
