Are you an experienced Concessions Manager looking for a new opportunity? Sodexo Campus West is hiring a Concessions Manager 2 to work out of McCarthey Center at Gonzaga University in Spokane , Washington. This is a high profile division that will support a 6,000 seat Basketball arena and 2500 seat Baseball stadium. The University participates in the West Coast Conference. High demand on outstanding game day experience for fans . Innovative thinking and tight controls.
This position will manage all aspects of operation; inventory control, purchasing, coordinating, training and scheduling of Not For Profit volunteer groups, cash handling and controls and facility client relations. Candidate must be able to plan for and manage all facets of food service for multiple events, in multiple arenas simultaneously.
The Ideal candidate will have:
Previous concessions or multiple food retail management experience
Solid POS and cash handling oversight.
Previous Sodexo experience or similar - familiar w/systems for ordering, inventory.
Experience working with large groups, coordinating a volunteer staff
Strong food sanitiation background and ability to train and enforce.
Understanding of Concessions food trends.
Experience handling multiple arenas, multiple events, and ability to delegate, coordinate and plan future events.
Manages food preparation and service operations in a concessions unit (i.e., stadiums, amusement parks). Responsible for inventory control with an emphasis on production needs. Oversees staff hiring and training.
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year of work experience in concessions, retail sales, or store operations.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
