Sodexo has an exciting new opportunity with a large health care system in Ohio, nearest metro Toledo, OH for an experienced Clinical Nutrition Manager (with at least 2-3 years of lead or management experience). Position will report to the Resident District Manager. Position will have responsibility for all aspects of clinical nutrition, oversight in a collaborative manner for patient food services, and will interact with client medical staff and nursing on a regular basis. Process improvement, Six Sigma, or other demonstrated ability for implementing change will be tantamount to success.
The ideal candidate will:
Serve in a leadership role on the Food and Nutrition Services team along with other Sodexo managers.
In this position, the candidate will have oversight of Registered Dietitians, Patient Services and the Diet Office staff and will represent the department on hospital-wide medical staff committees.
Have strong management in acute care nutrition services, along with a strong comprehension of the principles of clinical nutrition practice.
Have demonstrated skills in accreditation and regulatory readiness and review; and establishing and maintaining standards of care.
Need to have excellent communication and customer service skills, have a track record of proactive interaction with the medical team, and be a great team player.
Experience with Room Service Dining Programs and Electronic Health Records will be desirable.
Eligible for OH licensure.

Coordinates and directs the efforts of all patient care areas in very large accounts or major health care systems with more than two sites. Coordinates the supervision of specialty areas. Assists Clinical Area Support Manager in completion of projects, assessment of clinical programs at other accounts and mentoring of less experienced Clinical Nutrition Managers. May direct a dietetic internship.
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
