Job Description Job Title:Employee/Labor Relations Consultant 1 Job ID:269703 Location: Brazil-Sao Pãulo Full/Part Time: Full-Time Regular/Temporary:Regular Day to Day Work Key Responsibilities - Experience in Industrial Labor Relations in Latin America. Specific experience with Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, and Argentina employment law and labor relations. - Provides counsel and/or coaching to HR Business Partners and line managers regarding industrial labor relations, trade unions and employee relations issues across Latin American countries. - Works in partnership with Human Resources, management, and OGC (Office of the General Counsel) on union issues and all aspects of Employment Law across Latin American countries. - Works in partnership with Human Resources and OGC to plan, implement, and conduct collective bargaining with unions as required in specific countries across Latin America. - Provide counsel, advice and support to Human Resources and managers regarding policy, regulated employment activities, and interpretation of collective bargaining agreements, collective conventions, Health and Safety, and other labor requirements. - Works in partnership with Human Resources, management and OGC in global outsourcing transactions and assists in performing due diligence. - Develop and deliver training, including positive management practices, employment law awareness, and maintaining a respectful workplace. - Respond to, provide counsel for, and manage, as appropriate, serious employee issues and day-to-day workforce complaints. Conduct interventions and investigations when necessary. - Work with Human Resources and OGC to review, develop and/or implement employee/labor relations-related programs and policies, assist in insuring compliance with applicable labor and employment legislation across countries in Latin America. - Along with the OGC, provide procedural and/or legal review of termination indemnity calculations, reductions in force, poor performance, disciplinary recommendations, and governmental compliance audits across countries in Latin America.
