The Business Development Director develops and executes a strategic Business Development program for Off Campus Solutions and Campus Store Offers in conjunction with the Sodexo My Way Suite in conjunction with our partners and Off Campus Solutions (OCS) product offerings. Creates and implements effective internal communication tools. Develops a plan to enhance communication to existing clients and develops potential new client relationships.
Actively participates in sales proposal development and presentations .
Create and implement internal SDX annual sales process strategy
Develop specific target lists which are strategic in focus to sell in a leveraged fashion for Offers
Communications to SVP, VP, DM's regarding Offer opportunities
Conference calls/webinars with Sodexo operators and/or clients
Communicate directly with client when needed
SodexoNet materials update/refresh annually
Summer/Winter training Goldmails
Sodexo Management Conference
Create and implement external annual sales process
Target existing self-operated programs at colleges and universities
Financial
Interaction with finance to determine campus agreements language and terms for OCS and Campus Stores
Work with finance to develop account proformas
Negotiate terms with prospects and communicate changes to campus agreements as the potential client requests changes
Technical interaction with transaction system partners and third party bookstore vendors.
□ New Account Launch Management
Work with OCS Operations and Bookstore Operations staff to create project plan and launch process
Work with OCS Operations and Bookstore Operations staff to launch new accounts with interaction between campus contacts, merchant sales team and tech support.
Sell OCS merchants throughout launch process in tandem with in person visits with clients. (Firefight approach with any campus that needs additional sales focus). Coordinate with marketing to establish roll out of program
Work with OCS Operations and Bookstore Operations staff Coordinate technical overview/set up for a new launch
OCS Process Involvement - Sugar CRM Administrator
Support operational team as needed with:

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Functional Experience - At least 2 years sales or industry-related work experience
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
