Title: Teller Coordinator 1 or 2 Bilingual FT (40 Hours) Miami-West Dade Location: FL-Miami-West Dade Office Job Number: 244215 In addition to completing complex Teller transactions, performs functions such a scheduling Teller line team, provides input into performance reviews and may participate in conducting reviews with Branch Manager or Assistant Branch Manager. May participate in the selection/hiring process of Tellers. Completes operational functions such as approving transactions, cash control, branch security, internal control. Demonstrates competency with all Teller application transactions and process Teller operations. Identifies sales referral opportunities and makes appropriate referrals. Ensures that all Tellers are aware of, and participating in, achievement of service and sales goals. Responsible for coaching and development of Tellers, and Operations of Teller line. Advanced Teller and Basic Sales and Service skill set. Ensure compliance with internal controls, operational procedures and risk management policies. Responsible for ensuring that all business transactions and practices in the individuals span of control comply with all regulations and the SunTrust Code of Conduct. Pursue on-going education of SunTrust products, services, and other lines of business. ** A Bilingual Spanish/English Speaking candidate is required for this role** Qualifications: Teller Coordinator 1 Typically supports branches with service oriented/higher consumer market transactions. Significant cash management, account reconciliation, and oversight responsibility experience preferred. Possesses Advanced Teller and Basic Sales and Service skill sets. Approximately 50-75% of time spent on client transactional activities and remaining time spent on operations as well as coaching and development. Minimum Requirements: Three years experience as a Teller at SunTrust Bank, or three years experience at a comparable financial institution, or more than three years retail service and sales with supervisory experience. Knowledge of risk management and loss prevention. Must have cash handling or payment transactions and client facing experience. Preferred Requirements: Previous Teller Lead at SunTrust Bank or similar head teller role at a comparable financial institution and/or completion of Core, Intermediate and Advanced STU Curriculum Training for Tellers as well as corresponding Teller Coordinator coursework. Ability to uncover referral opportunities and provide strong leadership. Teller Coordinator 2 Typically supports branches with growth/higher business market transactions. Significant cash management, account reconciliation, and oversight responsibility experience preferred. Advanced Teller and Basic Sales and Service skill set. Approximately 50-75% of time spent on client transactional activities and remaining time spent on operations as well as coaching and development. Minimum Requirements: Four years experience as a Teller at SunTrust Bank, or four years experience at a comparable financial institution with supervisory experience, or more than four years retail service and sales with supervisory experience. Knowledge of risk management and loss prevention. Must have cash handling or payment transactions and client facing experience. Preferred Requirements: Previous Teller Lead and/or Teller Coordinator I experience at SunTrust Bank or similar head teller role at a comparable financial institution and/or completion of Core, Intermediate and Advanced STU Curriculum Training for Tellers as well as corresponding Teller Coordinator coursework.
