Sodexo is seeking a District Manager- Food Operations for our campus services division (Higher Education). The D.M. will be responsible for campus services for Washington & Oregon . The volume is $17.5M. Strategic-minded leader able to merge the clients vision & expectations into Sodexo mission of providing outstanding quality of life services.
This position interacts with multiple clients so we are looking for your sharp client relationship skills which is internal and external customer relations expertise. We are looking for someone who has the concept of "buying local first" and has experience with sustainability. Experience with campus dining programs including resident dining board plans, retail food dining, catering and all over campus dining programs is considered a plus! Strong team development skills, client relationship skills and proven successful P & L management are musts. Previous multi-site/multi-management responsibility and sales exposure is desired as well. Responsible for
successfully coordinating and directing all activities within the assigned geography through subordinate managers, supervisors and employees including financial performance, client retention, policy compliance, and employee training and development.
Develops a business plan and budget for the assigned accounts in conjunction with the account GM. Basic Education reside within this defined geography are required. Must live in either in Oregon & Washington; full relocation offered along with company car.
Serves as the primary representative of Sodexo for multiple accounts in a designated geographic area. Responsible for successfully coordinating and directing all activities within the assigned geographic area through subordinate managers, supervisors and employees including financial performance, client retention, and employee training and development. Works with each client and the VP in all matters relating to contract and account operations in order to establish and maintain a solid and mutually beneficial business relationship that ensures account retention. Develops a business plan and budget for the accounts with the GMs.
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 5 years
Basic Functional Experience - 5 years
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
