We currently have an opening for a Logistics Coordinator who is bilingual in English and Spanish, with excellent organizational and time management skills. Hours are Mon- Fri 7am-4pm (full time), with random Saturdays during mid-day. Must be available after hours via cellphone/email. Salary will be based on experience and we offer a benefits package.We look forward to hearing from qualified candidates. Perform Other Duties as Instructed by Supervisor: Yes Responsibilities & Duties: Manage the logistics of shipping U.S. grown product into Mexico. Development of carriers to ship product throughout the U.S. and Mexico. Negotiate and establish optimal rates. Create transportation schedules. Monitor drivers on a daily basis to ensure delivery. Keeping up-to-date the carriers'legal information. Manage claim process. Coordinate the export process in the discharge ports. Review with procurement the export documents of the containers. Constant communication with custom brokers to ensure the export of the products in an efficient manner. Review with management the regulatory procedures to export U.S. product into Mexico. Requirements: 100% bilingual (English-Spanish) Proficient in Microsoft Office Ability to multi-task Detail-oriented Excellent organizational and time management skills Knowledge in export/import procedures (USA-Mexico) a plus Education: High school diploma or equivalent Requirements See job description.
