Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 3 for a small rural private University located in Bluffton, OH., nearest metro area Toledo, Ohio. The University has a strong affiliation to the Mennonite church and is committed to passing along their core values of service, respect, discovery and community. Sodexo is seeking an experienced leader to enhance a robust and vibrant student life experience through our Dining Services. This is the lead Sodexo Manager on site, overseeing a total managed volume of 1.8 million in food service opporations on campus.
Responsibilities include
Unit financials/budgets
HR functions
Marketing
Strategic planning
Cash management and control
Training
Direct customer and client interaction
Leadership support for a team of 1 executive Chef and 5 hourly employees
The successful candidate will have at least 3-4 years experience in food management leadership, a strong financial acumen, computer literacy as well as excellent leadership, communication and customer service skills. We are seeking a leader with vision and with knwledge of current food trends, strong catering skills and experience will be a plus in this role.
Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 4 years
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
