Day to Day Work
Responsible for consulting with customers supporting company and/or multi-vendor products and systems. Provides technical support in sales presentations; product demonstrations, customer training, and delivery of professional services. Understands, develops and delivers solutions to customers' business, technical and educational needs. Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignments. Interacts with senior customer personnel on technical matters often requiring coordination with groups across organizational lines. Applies extensive knowledge and expertise in the following areas:

1. Candidate will have knowledge of Relational Database technologies, especially Oracle series and MySQL databases.
2. Ability to produce scalable data storages solution from including software and hardware/connectivity aspects is important.
3. Knowledge of specialized data storage such as content management systems (ECM) and related standards (e.g.CMIS) a major plus.
4. Knowledge of XML as a storage vehicle, including MarkLogic XML database a plus.
5. Ability to program and support programmers through SQL-ODBC/JDBC style connections essential.
6. Knowledge of Relational Database design including concepts like referential integrity, normalization, and indexing are critical.
7. Special features of database design such as large objects, localization and code sets, XML extensions, ability to automatically produce Web Service access to data, and data warehousing all a major plus.
8. Understanding of all forms to ETL and experience in both developing ETL methods and using ETL tools
Experience/Education Requirements:
Average of 10 years implementation and planning experience or equivalent certifications and/or experience. Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
