International Shoppes operates the duty free concessions throughout the North East including JFK International Airport, Boston Logan, Philadelphia International Airport and Newark's Liberty Airport. In addition, we operate multiple branded shops throughout JFK including boutiques from Cartier, Hermes, Salvatore Ferragamo, Mont Blanc, Bvlgari, Hugo Boss, Lacoste, Estee Lauder, Clinique and L'Occitane, as well as our own multi-branded concept store called "iS Style."
Our subsidiary, Diplomatic Duty Free Shops of New York, services the Diplomatic Communities by offering the same great products that we sell at our airport locations to local diplomats. We currently service diplomats in Manhattan, NY and Washington, D.C.

INTERNATIONAL SHOPPES, a High End Luxury Retail company with store locations in several international airports including JFK International Airport, is looking for SUPERSTARS who excel in top notch customer service! We are HIRING FULL TIME BILINGUAL RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATES!
Position summary:
Sell merchandise and provide exceptional customer service in a retail establishment. Work with store manager and supervisors to drive sales.
Responsibilities:
Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
Greet customers and ascertain what each customer wants or needs.
Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
Clean shelves, counters, and tables.
Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
Experience and Education:
Minimum 6 month of retail sales experience
Ability to sell across a broad range of categories such as clothing and accessories
Must be flexible with shifts MANDATORY Weekends and Holidays
Must be able to comfortable lift up to 50 lbs and standing up for long period of time (at least 8 hours per shift)
Must have a love for fashion and trends
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
Bilingual in one of these languages is a huge plus: Portuguese, Spanish, Russian, Polish,Italian, other languages are welcome.
