This position is responsible for collaborating with the Transportation Manager in the planning, directing and maintaining efficient transportation operations in a growing Food Service company. The right candidate will be responsible for the daily logistics within the Transportation Department.

Responsibilities & Duties:
Coordinates multiple shipping sites through implementation of RoadNet to maximize efficiency of routes on a daily basis.
Works to organize truck loads and routing schedules for increased efficiency and profitability.
Develops and distributes pick tickets for order fulfillment.
Coordinates selection and staging of product.
Oversees loading of product onto trailers and trucks.
Collaborates with Transportation Manager in scheduling of all Drivers.
Collaborates with Customer Service and Sales Team to solve customer issues as they arise.
Ideal Candidate:
Spanish speaking skills a plus
Qualifications:
Knowledge of RoadNet
Knowledge of Produce Pro
Minimum three years in Transportation / Logistics.
Extensive knowledge of DOT regulations
Spanish skills a plus
Skills:
Very strong interpersonal and communication skills
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications to include Excel
Must be able to work under pressure with tight deadlines and be available after normal business hours to resolve problematic delivery
Strong written and verbal communication
Creative problem solver
