This position is accountable for representing Optum products and services in the employer, payer, provider, government, and international markets.
Major Responsibilities
External Business Representation
- Lead market-facing clinical team for client, prospect, and broker/consultant engagements
- Support representation of business at client, industry, and consultant meetings
UHC Consumer Health Product Strategy Leadership
- Support engagement with UHC Key Accounts/UHC National Accounts/UHC Product on Optum product and service strategy.
- Support UHC consumer health services to the marketplace, where Optum is the primary representative
Integrated Product Development
- ‘Sponsor’ collaborative efforts between Optum businesses
Disruptive Innovation Development
- Serve as ‘contributor’ to the further commercialization of our capabilities – new capabilities or existing capabilities in new markets.
- Provide the marketplace orientation to product development.
- Support development of alternative consumer identification and engagement approaches
- Support ‘Wellness domain’ strategy
Position requires 70% travel
